In my presentation I give a picture of the present problems in both the economic (labor-) world
and global climate situation and I connect it with the question, which qualities and skills young
people should develop in order to cope with these problems in their future world.
I also try to answer the question whether the current praxis of education in schools is working
towards the described qualities and skills. Hereby I present some examples out the praxis.
In the final part of my story, I will propose several alternatives and concrete steps for basic
education in order to achieve the above meant qualities and skills.
